Position description: The OASIS Coordinator audits the medical record prior to billing for the RAP and Final Claim for Medicare cases and prior to billing the claim for insurance cases. The OASIS Coordinator reviews the billing scrubs and resolves issues with the billing scrubs. Works with the Revenue Cycle Coordinator to submit RAP's and Final Claims in a timely manner and according to all CMS and State guidelines. Sends the start of care and referral info to the clinical OASIS audit vendor. Receives the processed Medicare audit from vendor and conferences with the clinician regarding the changes that need to be made.
