EMT III/ Paramedic /Firefighter - (Fairbanks, AK)

Salary: $50,000 starting with a $5,000 dollar signing bonus and up to a $10,000 moving allowance. Chena Goldstream Fire and Rescue (CGFR) proudly serves the Chena Ridge and Goldstream Valley areas. The department also provides ALS transport for the western half of the Fairbanks Northstar Borough. The department employs a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, three Shift Officers/leaders, and an Administrative Assistant. The department also has 30 volunteers. CGFR operates out of four stations with approx 450 calls per year with 80% being medical calls. The Position: The selected applicant will be overseeing a shift with guidance from Command Staff. The daily shift personnel consist of the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Shift officer/leader, two student firefighter/emt's, and any available volunteers. Min Requirements: • NFPA Firefighter one (IFSAC Firefighter one Preferred) • Alaska EMT III or National Registry Paramedic • High-school degree or equivalent • Good driving history per our insurance standards
