Accountant Classification: Full time, Non-exempt Date Available: Immediately Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accountant is responsible for all accounts payable functions for the Hammer Museum. Major accounts payable functions include processing purchase orders and invoices; cutting checks and initiating wire payments; vendor management; performing related accounting procedures; overseeing proper storage and retention of accounting records; and assisting with the annual audit by providing copies of transactions that the auditors request to see. This position will also collaborate together with the Senior Accountant to cross-train and understand account receivable and revenue reconciliations.
