Test/Validation Engineer - (Seguin, TX)

As a Test/Validation Engineer at Caterpillar, you will have responsibility for performance testing of I6 diesel engines produced for Caterpillar customers. You will be the primary point of contact for issues related to the engine testing and associated systems, including training for operations, maintenance, and other support personnel. Position duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Perform product and process diagnostics. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement projects based on identified needs. Contribute to the design of new products and processes. Evaluate new products, processes, or systems for new product introduction. Collaborate with other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers, and suppliers. Leverage creative issue solving techniques to address operational issues including: efficiency improvements, process constraint, and quality concerns.
