Project Scientist - Neurosurgery - Dr. Ljubimova - (Los Angeles, CA)

The Project Scientist works independently and in cooperation with the Principal Investigator to make significant and creative contributions to a research or creative project in any academic discipline. The research projects assigned to the Project Scientist are developed under the direction of Julia Ljubimova, MD, PhD, Director of the Nanomedicine Research Center in the Department of Neurosurgery, and Keith L. Black, MD, Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery. Research efforts are currently funded by 4 (4) new, 5-year NIH/NCI and private foundation grants. The Project Scientist is an ongoing member of a research team to contribute high level skills to specific research. The Project Scientist is not required to carry out independent research or to develop an independent research reputation and does not have academic teaching responsibilities.
