Careers That Change Lives In this exciting role as a Supplier Quality Engineer you will have responsibility to assure materials supplied for Medtronic products are of high-quality and reliability. Assignments include communicating and leading technical objectives between MPSS and material suppliers. This includes leading activities such as: supplier qualification, supplier development, audits, facilitating improvements, material evaluation and qualification/validation, disposition of non-conforming material/corrective action, support of commodity and new product development teams. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, this position will help support strategic direction for the Supplier Quality organization and is responsible for d esigning and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating purchased materials. The SQE will apply statistical methods to assess conformity of materials and analyzes quality indicators from suppliers for use in business decisions.
