Senior Maintenance Worker - (Ojai, CA)

The City of Ojai is currently recruiting for Senior Maintenance Worker. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks to maintain the City's infrastructure including streets, sidewalks, drainage facilities, parks, buildings, and facilities. DEFINITION Under direction, to lead, oversee, and participate in the more complex and difficult work of staff responsible for providing street, parks, facilities, and cemetery maintenance, repair, and construction services; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Exercises technical and functional supervision over lower level staff. EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES Lead, plan, and review the work of staff responsible for providing street maintenance, repair, and construction services including the maintenance, repair, and construction of City streets, parks, facilities, and cemetery.
