Our client is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer Acts as a subject matter expert to provide technical ability and direct the work of others, assign personnel to various projects, and evaluate the work performed. Provides direction and guidance to lesser-experienced systems administration staff to assist them in their role and understanding of complex systems administration This job will have the following responsibilities Ensures that long term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall details systems planning of the organization. Performs highly complex software installations and upgrades to Mac operating systems and layered software packages. Must have current understanding of at least 1 scripting language for automating tasks using JavaScript, Perl, Python, or equivalent. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
