Supplier Quality Engineer - (Roseville, MI)

Leads efforts to drive supplier quality and process improvements through implementation of supplier quality improvement strategies. Develops and executes improvement plans with suppliers as required. Works with supplier organizations to rectify and improve quality issues. Assumes a leadership role on investigating and correcting quality events or issues. Trains and mentors supplier personnel to better understand RCO standards. Reviews capability and capacity of supplier and informs Procurement of significant gaps. Leads efforts required to develop, implement, and verify manufacturing control systems at suppliers as required. Implements quality improvement activities with supply chain. Up to 10-15% domestic travel may be required. Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies. Support IATF 16949 continuous improvement initiatives.
