Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Auditor onsite at Caterpillar in East Peoria, IL. The applicant will Inspect and test processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defect, wear, and deviations from specifications. Education/Background: An Associates degree or equivalent background/training required. 5 to 7 yrs relevant background with previous quality auditing background required. Skills and Competencies: Creativity, verbal and written correspondence abilities, analytical and issue solving expertise. Team member and detail oriented. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Major Position assignments and Responsibilities: Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
