Learn more at Position description: The Distribution Specialist is responsible for the receipt, storage, accountability, and distribution of all equipment and supplies held in stock and/or requested by the medical center. The position is responsible for monitoring and assuring that an adequate level of supplies and patient care equipment are maintained within the Materials Department and appropriate par level supply storage areas. As a member of the Supply Chain Operations team, the Distribution Specialist shall make a concerted effort to resolve and fulfill all customer requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner. This position works under limited supervision. Work situations are routine and physically demanding. This job mandates organization, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
