Manufacturing Engineer - (Dayton, OH)

Position details Telamon is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in our Dayton, OH location. The Manufacturing Engineer's primary role is to develop and maintain manufacturing processes that include a high-level of error proofing to provide quality products to our customers. This includes designing tooling, specifying equipment and programming control systems including PLC s, torque tools and vision systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop tooling and fixture designs that incorporate error proofing concepts Support day to day operations of a production floor focused on assembly processes. This includes troubleshooting assembly issues. Interact with operations to make improvements to existing equipment, tooling and assembly processes. Develop technical specifications for new equipment and tooling that is purchased from various vendors. Develop/improve the assembly process for new/existing products. Perform minor modifications to tooling & equipment.
