Mechanic/Manager - (Richmond, VA)

Critical functions and Responsibilities: Oversees the operation of all client irrigation systems, including regular visits, repairs, and seasonal start-ups or protective services. Accountable for proactively serving the needs of customers through the assessment and proposal of irrigation upgrades and/or the use of other beneficial technology. Identifies system problems and acts as subject matter expert to develop solutions and a plan for execution. Performs industry standard irrigation audits for any type of irrigation system, and provides detailed irrigation site assessments. Directs, organizes, and oversees Irrigation Technicians to assure quality and timely completion of all tasks assigned within safety standards. Assists and guides crew in diagnosing and troubleshooting irrigation-related problems. Supervises and trains Irrigation Technicians on proper equipment operation and industry-related updates, and guides overall development of their skill in the field.
