Job summary: The Registered Nurse in the Acute Care setting manages the patient/family experience through utilization of criticalthinking, teamwork, outstanding communication, and nursing judgment/knowledge/skills. Requirements: Education/including Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:Current licensure California RN or Interim Permitee. Must have current American Heart Association BLS -Health Care Provider recognition or Greater Sacramento Region -Healthcare CPR. Graduate of an licensed school of nursing; BS preferred. Current ACLS recognition required. Knowledge:Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication abilities. Experience:One (1) year of critical care experience wanted. 1 (1) year of telemetry nursing experience wanted. Skills:In depth knowledge of nursing process in assessment of physical and psychosocial, psychological needs of patients.
