RN - Ambulatory Care Unit (Per Diem, Varied Shifts) - (Sacramento, CA)

Position summary: The Registered Nurse coordinates and provides the total care of the patient (physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs) using the nursing process; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation pursuant to the objectives and policies of the Nursing Services Department of Sutter General and Sutter Memorial Hospitals. The patient population varies at each facility to include infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Requirements: MIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Education:Graduate of an accredited institution of Nursing. Current California RN license or interim permit. ACLS required and must maintain recognition PALS preferred. Experience:Acute care experience wanted. Experience in area of clinical specialty preferred. Prefer two years of clinical hospital experience. Knowledge: Knowledge of nursing process in the assessment of physical and psychological needs of patients and their significant others. Demonstrate basic nursing skills.
