Job summary: The Registered Nurse in the Acute Care setting manages the patient/family background through utilization of critical thinking, teamwork, outstanding communication, and nursing judgment/knowledge/skills. Requirements: Education:Current licensure California RN or Interim Permitee; BLS-Health Care Provider, ACLS, ande PALS certification required. Graduate of an licensed school of nursing; BS preferred. Background:At least 2 years background in an acute care or critical care areas, and or post-operative care unit. Background in care of GI endoscopy patients. Moderate sedation certification. Knowledge:Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication abilities. Skills:Independently practices and prioritize multiple demands in a ever-changing environment. Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills is required.
