Regulatory Manager (Flavors) - (Parsippany, NJ)

Job summary: This position is with a GLOBAL Flavor house and is responsible for coming in on the ground floor to lead the development and growth of an outstanding Regulatory Affairs program for the company. Reports to Chief Operating Officer. Roles & Responsibilities: Elaborate, document and administrate ideal recommended forms of declaration regarding food law. Ensure adherence to all regulations pertaining to the creation, labeling and manufacturing of products. Evaluate customer labels according to all regulations, giving client recommendations. Evaluate/generate customer labels and SDS according to food law aspects and derive recommended actions for the customer. Ensure the creation, documentation and administration of product specifications based on product formulation. Ensure compliance to all dietary segmentations (KOSHER, HALAL, Allergen, Organic, GMO) Ensure timely application for required permits (TTB, etc). Advise internal and external customers concerning regulatory questions.
