Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP) Specialist - (Melbourne, FL)

Position description: The GAP Specialist is the primary point of contact for licensure for level 1 relative, non-relative and fictive kin caregivers. This position will conduct Parent Pre-Service (PRIDE) training, conduct home visits and complete the Unified Home Study. The GAP Specialist ensures timely and thorough completion of home studies in compliance with Florida Administrative Code. This position also provides recommendations for approval and participates in the on-call rotation on the 1st tier. Technical/Functional Expectations: Complete Level one Licensure Home Studies: The position completes all level 1 foster homes studies inclusive of the assessment and evaluation of all household members and babysitters, background screening and details required for the Unified Home Study within 60 days of placement. This position completes yearly re-licensing home assessments for all level 1 licensed homes.
