Warehouse Associate - (Melville, NY)

The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing and shipping activities. Reporting to the Site Manager, the perfect candidate will be organized, detail oriented with a thorough understanding of inventory management and customer service with effective interpersonal skills that will be utilized to provide overall program support to our customer while working onsite at their manufacturing facility in Hicksville, NY. The applicant will actively perform material handling functions, inventory control (including product database management, maintenance of minimum/max levels, and cycle counting), receive in and dispatch products, purchasing support functions (including order entry and expediting), and heavy customer interaction in a quick paced environment. Ideally the individual will be familiar with working in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working independently while representing our company. Familiarity with MRO products is a plus.
