Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment. Works with acetylene torches, welders, hand tools, hydraulic and air-powered tools Responsible for maintaining the plant manufacturing equipment in a state of readiness. Complete work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns. Perform the appropriateplantequipment inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance for both fixed and mobile equipment. Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment. Performs routine preventative maintenance on plant and mobile equipment including handling welding repairs. Conducts routine inspections of plantand mobile equipment and reports findings to supervisor. Prepare Plant reports as required and maintain an inventory of regularly used repair supplies or equipment.
