Supervisor - Benefits Verification/Medical Insurance - (Monroeville, PA)

Position overview The principal responsibility of the Supv Benefits Verification is to supervise staff in the Benefits Verification Department by providing direction to ensure that patient requests are met and benefits are verified in an accurate and efficient manner to achieve exceptional customer service to exceed company and customer expectations. The Supervisor is also responsible for directing daily workflow, coordinate procedural changes, interviewing/hiring, evaluating & reviewing performance, coaching & counseling, disciplinary action and daily supervision of the staff to ensure that all department and company policies and procedures are followed. Required background - 3 Yrs background working with medical insurance or in a pharmacy environment. Preferred Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Background in a high intensity, high energy production environment - Attention to customer focus to ensure patients are responded to with accurate and timely details.
