Assist with accounting and reporting for domestic and international accounting units Dart Container may have Accounting Assistants to support the areas of: : Accounts Payable : Accounts Receivable : General Ledger : Fixed Assets/Projects : Plant Accounting/Product Costing : Payroll Day:to:Day Role: : Create verbal and written correspondence to internal departments about accounting related details : Maintain secure control of accounting related documentation; invoices, checks, journal entries, financial statements : Run reports, compile data, and accurately enter transactions into the financial systems : Scan, index, assemble, update and file accounting related documents : Accurately prepare accounting related schedules such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules using Microsoft excel or Microsoft word Core Skills and Requirements: : Associates degree with an emphasis in accounting : 1 (1) year of general clerical background in an accounting environment
