AutoCAD/GIS Drafter - (Anchorage, AK)

Position details POSITION: AutoCAD/GIS Drafter LOCATION: Anchorage, Alaska DESCRIPTION: This job necessitates intermediate skills in using AutoCAD 2016. Duties include updating telecom plant maps with utility data. Knowledge of ESRI s ArcGIS platform desired. Successful applicant will be required to sign up with the IBEW. SKILLS: - Familiarity with telecommunication/utility plant maps - Proficiency using AutoCAD versions 2000 and 2016 - Proficiency using ESRI s ArcGIS desired -Effective communication abilities ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED - Familiarity with easements and right-of-ways DURATION/SCHEDULE: Work assignment will be of a short term nature, through the end of the year. This position is for a direct-hire. Inquiries from 3rd-party consultants/firms are not desired. PAY: $36.62/hour BENEFITS: Through NECA/IBEW and their program qualifications.
