CAD Drafter - (Norfolk, VA)

Position description We are seeking a CAD Drafter to join our team! You will be responsible drafting shop drawings for use in our shop, as well as for approval to general contractors. Responsibilities: Provide clean, concise drawings of our scope of work for submittal to our customers Coordinate with PM & Estimator to solidify correct details on shop drawings Aligning drawing details with contract documents (Architectural drawings and specifications) Providing machining details for custom casework, and shop items based upon approved drawings Requirements: Previous background in construction desired but not required Comfortable reading architectural blue prints & specifications Strong analysis and critical thinking skills Deadline and detail-oriented Company Description We are an architectural woodwork, and casework company specializing in commercial projects.
