job description: We are looking for a Telecom Engineer with Cisco UCM system engineering background. For 1 of the largest private employers in Lousiana. The Telecom Systems Engineer ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the telecommunications systems by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The IS Systems Engineer helps identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems; and participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values. The IS Systems Engineer assumes responsibility for both Architecture and Engineering management processes within telecommunications Infrastructure and Operations.
