Job Number: R0048298 IT Procurement Specialist Key Role: Purchase a high volume and variety of complex or technical materials, supplies, equipment, and services. Evaluate bids, select and recommend suppliers, and negotiate price, delivery, quality, and service. Solicit bids, analyze quotations received, and select or recommend a preferred supplier. Follow up on all awards until completion of order. Negotiate and settle with suppliers regarding damaged claims, rejections, losses, returns of materials, over shipment, cancellations, and engineering changes. Conduct supplier site visits and rate them regarding production capability, performance, and delivery. Maintain purchasing records and provide work leadership for junior employees.
