Other Requirements: Five Years or equivalent previous work in areas of Nursing Supervision . Must have knowledge of Quality Improvement, supervision/healthcare administration, direct hands on skills, CPR and basic microsoft word processing skills. Demonstrates leadership abilities, accepts responsibility, exercises authority, functions independently, possess effective written correspondence skills and oral communication. Articulates knowledge of general staffing requirements, theory and practice; applies principles in daily program staff scheduling, demonstrates knowledge of hospital organizational structure including P&P's. Demonstrates interest and willingness to teach. Must work well with others using tact and diplomacy. Exhibits good conduct and grooming as a representative of acute care nursing management. Possesses insight for employee potential growth and development and demonstrates ability to do effective, impartial counseling as set forth by the company P&P's.
