Job DescriptionMagical Beginnings Learning Tree is seeking a part-time Teachers' Aide to join our organization! This individual will work in our Infant, Toddler and Preschool classrooms to support classroom teachers. This is a perfect position for a high-school or college student which could lead to more hours on school breaks and summer vacations.Responsibilities: Nurture children by developing and providing educational programs Providing a safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean and appealing facilities; removing known safety hazards. Encourage children's participation by providing age appropriate interactive activities. Assist teachers in Implement lesson plans, prepare materials as needed Maintain EEC required professional development hours and PQ registry Attend monthly staff meetings Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Create a fun and safe learning environment Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest
