Physical Security Officer III : Unarmed - (Phoenix, AZ)

Purpose of Job We are currently seeking talented Physical Security Officer III : Unarmed for our Phoenix, AZ facility. Provides armed workforce security and safety by responding to and resolving issues pertaining to access control, accident and emergency response, medical response, workplace violence, active shooter events and other security issues. Under direct supervision, uses established procedures to perform routine tasks and problem resolution. Performs all duties in alignment with USAA s Security Officer Standards. Position qualifications Acquires and applies foundational knowledge of policies, processes, and procedures; seeks guidance from teammates to resolve non:routine issues and to appropriately identify escalations. Controls access to USAA property and delivery access at entry gates, turnstiles, and visitor lobbies. Provides info and direction to employees, visitors and contractors. Patrols USAA properties to prevent trespassing, theft, vandalism, and criminal activities.
