Test Technician Duties: The preferred applicant must possess mechanical and electrical hands on background testing missile components or equivalent. The position may require travel and shift work. The applicant must be a self-starter and must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance. Skills: Mechanical and Electrical Hands on background testing various missile components or equivalent. Must have test background in lab environment as well as contracted test facilities. Must be familiar with environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock, vacumm). Current knowledge of thermal chambers, vibe tables and altitiude chambers. The candidiate must possess moderate electrical/ mechanical expertise. Must be familiar with multimeters, oscilliscopes, function generators, etc. Expertise to read test schedules, work orders, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testing procedures and equipment used preferred. * Test functional performance of, sub-assemblies, and parts as specified in process documents.
