Quality Assurance Engineer - (Albany, NY)

A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer role is available with a growing organization! QA Engineer will: ' Champion qualification efforts for new or revised processes which require formal qualification programs and industry standard compliance, such as welding and NDE, and ensure that requirements for existing processes are being properly maintained and documented. ' Coordinate resolution of complex quality problems as they arise to minimize the impacts on customers and costs. Facilitate root cause analysis efforts. ' Maintain the inspection test plan (ITP) template and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure that accurate, complete and timely ITP's are developed and issued in the course of project execution. ' Assist Quality Management System (QMS) document authors as needed with improvements to current procedures or in the development of new procedures.
