CAD Drafter/Designer - (Milwaukee, WI)

Job details We are a leading Milwaukee manufacturer of electrical products in need of a CAD Drafter/Designer for our Engineering Department. This is a full time position with benefits being offered to the right individual. Duties and assignments include: - Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) - Support standard product and special customer project work. - Must be proficient in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks). - Produce manufacturing documentation info for production. - An Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Mechanical Design is preferred, or a high-school diploma with 3-5 yrs of background using 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred). - Requires knowledge of Ms office. - Design and optimization of electro-mechanical components. - Create new drawings for Sales and Production. - Generate new designs from concept, taking into consideration manufacturability and cost effectiveness. Starting Wage is commensurate with education and background.
