Compliance Director (Champaign,IL) - (Champaign, IL)

The Compliance Director is responsible for leadership, strategic development and implementation of AbbVie's Compliance Program. Specifically, this position supports the U.S. Area and Global Brand Teams. The Director: Serves as primary compliance liaison to franchise/brand leadership, including Commercial, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional business leaders. Actively engages with business partners to provide strategic compliance guidance on the development and execution of proposed strategic and tactical initiatives. Identifies complex compliance issues, analyzes alternatives and works with business partners to develop and implement solutions. Possesses in-depth knowledge of AbbVie's businesses as well as the external risk environment. Frequently serves as brand support liaison to other areas of the Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC). Identifies and manages compliance implications of novel proposed brand initiatives with potential to have impact at the enterprise level.
