IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION (IRCO) JOB OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION: SummerWorks Career Coach/Work Readiness Trainer WAGE: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour LOCATION: Main Office - 10301 NE Glisan St. Portland, OR. 97220 APPLY AT: STATUS: Six-Month contract (40 hours per week); Casual/On-Call - No Benefits PROGRAM(S): SummerWorks OPENING DATE: February 26, 2019; Interviews will be held from mid-March through mid-April CLOSING DATE: Open until filled, start date April 16, 2019 DRIVING: Required OTHER: Works with youth between age sixteen - 24 GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW: IRCO is looking for SummerWorks Career Coaches that will support the SummerWorks program in Multnomah and Washington Counties. The SummerWorks Career Coach will provide workforce development services to low-income youth who face barriers to employment. SummerWorks is an essential program that provides youth with work background and runs from April 15th to September 30th.
