Sanitation Lead - (Prosser, WA)

The Role: Supervise employees and direct operations associated with cleaning and sanitation throughout the plant. Key Accountabilities * Responsible for working in a safe and productive manner throughout the work day. * Direct the sanitation and cleaning of a variety of machines and surfaces using chemicals. * Oversee the operation of machinery, tools and mixing chemicals. * Directly supervise 5-7 seasonal employees through assignment of tasks, coaching, teaching and scheduling. * Supervise the general cleaning of floors, walls, equipment and tools to ensure that the equipment works in a safe and productive manner. * Maintain the general safety and cleanliness of work areas. * Communicate with other production employees, supervisors, team leads, maintenance personnel, truck drivers and Lab personnel on clean-up and other sanitation issues. * Other tasks as assigned Skills & Background * 1 season of background working as a Sanitation Lead in a food plant or equivalent.
