Research Engineer/Scientist/Technician - (Ann Arbor, MI)

Job details Michigan Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Scientist/Engineer/Technician with background in optical instrumentation. Applications include development of systems for airborne, spaceborne, ground and marine environments. The preferred applicant would have significant background in active and/or passive sensor systems, interferometry, optical, opto-electrical or opto-mechanical design for sensing applications. In addition, background with Zemax or equivalent optical design software, lasers, and modeling of atmospheric phenomenon is a plus. Preferred requirements include a Masters or Ph.D. in physics or engineering or commensurate background.
