:Position details: As a member of the Nursing Management Team the Nursing Manager has 24 hour responsibility for 1 or more nursing units. Responsible to manage and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to all patient populations for treatment of psychiatric, emotional disorders, and addictive disease: to serve actively and constructively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, supporting the hospital philosophy of nursing care: to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient: to provide administrative support to staff. Interviews, makes hiring decisions, evaluate performance, accomplishes corrective actions and recommends staff terminations in compliance with company policies and procedures.: Job responsibilities :: Possess a current SC Registered Nurse License. Education: Bachelor s degree Required. BSN or MSN preferred. Background: 2yrs background in an acute care setting. Behavioral Health or Acute Psychiatric background wanted.
