IT Operational Support CC7644570 12 mnth Contract Windsor, CT Operations Technician (Operations Command Center) The Operations Command Center provides 7 by twenty-four by 3 hundred and sixty 5 day coverage; this position is for 1 of the 2 night teams supporting the environment. Standard work weeks consist of twelve hour shifts comprised of two 36-hour, three day weeks followed by one 48-hour, four day week. The Operations Command Center is responsible for identifying potential disruptions in the IT environment and taking preventive actions to avoid outages. In the event unplanned business disruption occurs, the team actively participates in the restoration of service on Managed Priority one and Priority two events. The Operations Technician is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Operations Command Center infrastructure systems.
