Laser Operator / Laser Programmer - (Jackson, MI)

Job details 6-axis Laser Technician This is a skilled technical position. This position mandates the expertise to make fast and accurate decisions relating to the production process and advanced laser cutting equipment. A good understanding of the information of the product to be manufactured that would include size, tolerance and use, is required for this position. Operate 3D laser; this requires a good computer experience and attention to detail. 2. Perform maintenance on machines; this requires the expertise to read and follow written instruction. 3. Understanding of CNC controls 4. Completely lay out parts to print 5. Adjust programs to get parts to print 6. Designing of fixtures for part holding 7. Proficiency is using Polyworks software 8. Familiar with, and use of, laser scanning technology, i.e. Romer Arms
