DISTRIBUTION CENTER LABORERPositionA Distribution Center Laborer of Ashely Furniture Industries, Inc. ("Ashley"), will be assigned, from time to time, to 1 or more positions within Ashley's distribution center. The standard operating Procedure for the position will be presented prior to starting work and the assigned position. It is the responsibility of the Distribution Center Laborer to follow the standard operating procedures while working at the assigned position.Key functions and ResponsibilitiesDistribution Center Laborers load or unload product from trailers and/or containers and transport finished goods between production and distribution center locations and loading and unloading areas. Main responsibilities of this position may include:1. Perform safety check of Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) prior to operation.2. Operate PIVs in a save and appropriate manner.3.
