This position is for Mary Bird Perkins Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center clinic at Woman's Hospital Scope : Functions as a point person/coordinator of services for radiation oncologists and radiation oncology patients. Promotes the smooth transition of patient care from entry into MBPCC system until completion of treatment and throughout follow-up process. Assists designated physician(s) in a variety of professional and paraprofessional patient care activities as specified and requested. Duties : Coordinator of patient care services Specialized nursing care of radiation oncology patients Patient Education Phone Triage Acts as backup in the clinic Requirements : RN, Louisiana State Board of Nursing license required BA and/or OCN Certification preferred Min of two years nursing background Oncology background desired
