Family Nurse Practitioner (16054B) - (Salt Lake City, UT)

The NP/APRN role provides primary care and treatment to patients, Provision of clinic services may occur through Juvenile Justice Services, Cognitive Disorders, Employee Health Clinics, and others. Required functions include, but are not limited to: - Perform accurate comprehensive health history, review of systems and physical examination, concluding with diagnosis and treatment. - Perform a comprehensive physical examination to identify the normal and abnormal changes associated with health, injury and /or disease states. - Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures and tests, as indicated by the history and physical examination, for acute and common primary care conditions. - Develop differential diagnoses on the basis of clinical and laboratory data. - Differentiate common primary care problems and other deviations from normal. Recognize emergency situations and initiate emergency care/triage.
