The Scientist I is responsible for working proficiently in all aspects and functions of NWF product development including but not limited to developing, duplicating and cost reducing seasonings and/or coatings to meet customer needs. KEY FUNCTIONS: Maintain full independent account responsibility.Assure customer satisfaction through professional communications with the customers, suppliers and NWF employees including Sales, production, customer service and alternate plant facilities.Achieve understanding of our customers products and processing.Become an expert at formulating NWF products for customer's applications.Demonstrate appropriate competency in ingredient functionality and selection.Impact cost through formulation.Represent R&D at customer visits and/or plant trials.Support customer training presentations.Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
