The qualified applicant will be responsible for physical and analytical performance testing of all products made in Operations, quality control testing of specified ingredients, and monitoring and performing of quality control procedures for ingredients and finished products. Performs review of HACCP, SSOP, and other production records each morning to assure products adhere to food safety and product quality qualifications. Observes production activities to assure consistency and conformance standards. High-school degree required. Successful completion of chemistry, food science or microbiology course work highly desirable. At least 1 yr background as a quality technician in a food plant; previous food service background a plus.
