Position description: The Technical Writer/Editor - Distribution works independently and within teams to assemble and distribute technical data products from various Coast Guard systems for scheduled distribution to a variety of surface community customers. Citizenship: U.S. Security Clearance: None. Education and Background: Associate's degree or at least 2 (2) years of task related skills. Essential Duties: Locate, reproduce and package technical data products for distribution. Support document orders, dry-dock availabilities and Freedom of Details Act requests. Process annual, quarterly and special requests of CDs, DVDs and hard copy artifacts for distribution. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities : Customer service background. Background with working in teams and independently.
