Sr. Network & System Engineer - (Arlington, VA)

Position overview: Establish, maintain, and optimize network and server performance Install / update / maintain server hardware configurations, software, and connections Update / maintain storage solutions, including troubleshooting to resolve issues with compliance Facilitate OIG OI processes and activities supporting: Configuration management Change control Hardware life-cycle management Software life-cycle management Security management (e.g., ISO 27001/2, NIST 800.53) Network management Application life cycle management Follow OIG CCU and Chief Details Officer (CIO) policies and standard operating procedures to ensure responsive and timely top level service to CCU teammates. Define and document server systems, storage arrays, forensic workstations, and network infrastructure Install / configure / administer / manage Windows Servers and network Install / configure / administer / manage network infrastructure (cabling, switches, routers, firewalls)
