Design & Construction Services Manager - (Menlo Park, CA)

JOB SUMMARY: The Facilities and Operations (F) Division is seeking a highly qualified Manager for Design & Construction Services (DCS). The DCS Manager is responsible for design, construction, and project management of a multi-million dollar capital project portfolio for facilities, utilities, and conventional infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Facilities & Operations, the position supervises teams of engineers, architects, and field construction managers. The DCS Manager collaborates with SLAC Senior Management, DOE Federal Project Directors, scientists, construction contractors, A/MEP consultants, procurement staff, financial analysts, technicians, and other professionals. Key areas of assignments include, but are not limited to the following: * Lead and direct project teams in all phases of design, contracting, construction, acceptance and commissioning, and close-out. * Assess resources needed to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and effectively.
