Maintenance Mechanic - Groundskeeper Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs Great benefits Under the supervision of the campus Physical Plant Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic – Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance and repair of campus buildings, utilities, vehicles, equipment, and custodial functions. This position may perform a variety of skilled building maintenance tasks in 1 or more of the trades involving electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, locksmith, masonry, painting, carpentry, auto mechanics, and custodial trades and services. Grounds maintenance responsibilities are also included such as the use of equipment, tools and chemicals for grounds, snow removal and related functions. This position provide on-call service, security of buildings, and perform other duties as assigned. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to working in a culturally competent environment and the expertise to effectively work with students, employees, and community members having diverse backgrounds.
