Service Technician 1 - (Tualatin, OR)

Overview SUMMARY Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, the incumbent repairs, services and maintains engine driven Generators and electric welding machines and ensures a safe workplace atmosphere. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Replaces defective parts and completes preventative maintenance required. Orders parts as required in order to complete repairs. Inspects returned equipment for proper operation and/or damage by the customer. Ensures clean and organized work environment at all times. Prepares and completes paperwork for all machine repairs, Occasionally required to service equipment and customers off-site. Maintains communication with all branch personnel. Occasionally advises customers regarding best equipment for their projects. Performs troubleshooting of machines, calibrations on-site and off-site. Knowledge of computers, welding process, equipment set-up, welding gases, welding wires Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
