Back up Plant Trainer - (Accomac, VA)

HR Trainer - typically day shift, but hours may vary depending on the need of the company(This is an Internal Job Posting - only current Perdue associates will be considered)The primary purpose of this position is to: 1) communicate company benefits, policies and procedures, and rules and regulations pertaining to safety, hazardous communication, and ergonomics; 2) assist with new hire orientation/wrap in procedures; 3) assist the Safety Manager with filing documentation, meeting, audits, etc; and 4) other duties as assigned by HR.Responsibilities/DutiesCommunicate company benefits, policies and procedures, and rules and regulations through the orientation process.Provide on-the-job training and follow-up on hazardous communication, safety, ergonomics, and other subjects to hourly associates.Assist/conduct New Hire Orientation: Complete required paperwork such as orientation packets, files and ID badges.Assist with the safety shoe truck program
